good review, although I think more mention should be given to the Achievements. Trying to get Wax Off, or King Of The Hill etc...they are perfectly balanced. As even an average player, can still spend hours trying to get them, without feeling "goddamnit another achievement just for the hardcore".

Fantastic review. I used to play videogames back in the early eighties on the 8-bit Atari's and in the arcades of course. Defender never really got it's hooks into me; I was more a Robotron: 2084 kinda guy so I do of course find myself drawn to GW(never played it!!). I don't currently have anything to play games on, but the 360 appeals because of live arcade. Anyway, I digress. I love the humour that so often shines like a beacon on this site and also the opinions voiced. This review is, like so many others, a joy to read, being genuinely funny, eloquent, intelligently written and balanced superbly for it's likely audience. Thanks for making me smile at 2 a.m, as well as wanting to start playing videogames again! Now if only we could see a re-working of Necromancer...!
