@Darklord - to an extent, except hopefully it will be less of a disappointment...

I like the capabilities of the N-series, but having a slim handset is important to me. I haven't seen any that are less than 16mm thick, unless anyone can suggest one?
Nice to see more OLED displays in phones now!

@GherkinG - think you know the obvious one...! It's 11mm thick. Though the LG KC910 (http://www.trustedreviews.com/mobile-phones/news/2008/08/22/8MP-LG-Viewty-Successor-Unveiled/p1) and Samsung Onmia are also ones to look out for.

Ooh, I'm tempted, there really isn't anything out there that matches the iphone's UI and web browsing - but it's the total cost and itunes lock-in.
I'm probably better off saving for a netbook instead, it won't get dropped and abused the way a mobile would. That said, I'm keeping my eyes peeled for Android-based handsets on the horizon, I can see it having huge community support, and an altogether more 'unrestricted' feel to it... even so, I imagine Apple will stay ahead in terms of PR and public awareness.

I'm still shocked that it's not been picked up on or reported anywhere, but WinAmp has offered iPod synching for quite a while now! At least a year!

this maybe the best combination of a camera and mobile phone together in one package. the internet feature may be just a novelty because who really wants to have a screen that small to read their e-mail.

this is a good combination of a phone and camera in one. with 5MP it can serve as a personal camera at the same time a mobile phone. this is all you need to carry around.

Nokia N85?!?!?
That looks just like the new (forth coming) "N96"
