Cowon's Tasty Trio of Touchscreen PMPs

The s9 looks like my new m3player.. i just hope i will come in 32 gb, but it will probably max out at 16 gb...

Damn if only I hadn't just ordered the D2! The S9 looks absolutely fantastic, however I guess it'll be months if not a year til the S9 pops up in the UK plus it has no SD card slot.

I assume these are going to use flash memory and therefore come in pathetic sizes? I long for the days when portable MP3 players used hard disks - I can't believe the only music-focused MP3 player offering 80GB+ is now the iPod Classic, which I'd rather avoid if at all possible for various reasons. I have a large music collection (legally purchased the old-fashioned way, then ripped!) which has outgrown my ageing iRiver H340 (40GB) - which I've just given a new lease of life using Rockbox, but that doesn't resolve the storage issue. I suppose something will come along eventually...
